While talking to the Cricket Postcard Aamir said, 'Agar Indian cricket team mei mai kisi haisiyat pe bhi hota toh vo mere liye bahut badi baat hoti. It doesn't matter what position I would be, it would be a matter of pride for me if ever that happened.' Remembering the match when masterblaster Sachin Tendulkar said goodbye to the cricket Aamir said 'the second most memorable match for me would be the day Sachin retired.' Expressing his admiration and love for Sachin as a fan, the actor says 'Sachin is someone I've been a huge huge fan of. I think he's the one person I really look up to.'
