New Delhi: Superstar Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’ is all set to unveil its teaser and first poster on October 2nd. The launch event will be held in Ayodhya in UP. Director Om Raut today confirmed that ‘Adipurush’ will release both in 3D and IMAX. The IMAX version will be on par with Hollywood movies, the team said.
Superstars Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, as well as the director Om Raut and producerBhushan Kumar, will grace the magnificent occasion. The movie depicts the victory of good over evil and is based on the Ramayana legend. The fact that Lord Ram was born in this holy town in Uttar Pradesh makes the setting for this important occasion extremely appropriate. The scale of the movie will be reflected in both the poster and the teaser.
On Tuesday, film trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh, in his tweet confirmed that the makers of Adipurush will release the film’s first look and teaser on 2 October in Ayodhya. His tweet read, “Prabhas – Saif – Kriti – Sunny: Adipurush teaser on 2 Oct in Ayodhya… Adipurush – which arrives in cinemas on [Thu] 12 Jan 2023 – will launch Adipurush Teaser + First Look poster on 2 Oct 2022 in Ayodhya… Stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh.
In another tweet, he wrote, “Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush will release in 3D and IMAX in multiple languages.” Film’s director Om Raut too shared the news on his Twitter handle. He wrote, “Our magical journey is now yours to experience and love! The much awaited Adipurush Teaser and the first poster of our film will be launched on Oct. 2! Venue – Bank Of Sarayu, Ayodhya, UP! Adipurush releases in cinemas on January 12, 2023 in IMAX & 3D!”

Saif Ali Khan reprises his role as the antagonist (villain) in Om Raut’s Adipurush, which is also the director of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, after portraying the antagonist in Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. In the new movie poster, Saif is depicted as the character Lankesh.
Prabhas shared the poster and referred to Saif’s character as “the most intellectual demon in the universe” (something that reminds us of the Hindu mythological villain Raavan). “The most intelligent demon in the entire planet existed 7000 years ago! #Adipurush, “Prabhas also distributed the poster.
Earlier, while talking about the film, Saif Ali Khan said, “I am thrilled to be working with Omi Dada again. He has a really big vision and knowledge of technology to reinvigorate this story. The way Tanhaji was shot has taken me to a different level from the cutting edge era of cinema, and this time it would be a new experience. This is an extraordinary project and I am thrilled to be a part of it! I look forward to fighting swords with the mighty Prabhas and playing the role of villian.”
