Its Hindi version also performed better than SSKT. It collected Rs 96.45 lakh by selling 32,779 tickets across 4,377 shows. Tamil and Malayalam versions added extra revenue, showing the film’s strong multi-language appeal.
Across India, Kantara Chapter 1 collected Rs 6.87 crore from 2,09,199 tickets across 7,390 shows, excluding block seats. With block seats, the total jumped to Rs 11.42 crore, reflecting high demand for premium tickets. Karnataka led with Rs 5.16 crore at 37% occupancy. Kerala and Maharashtra followed with Rs 36.2 lakh and Rs 56.08 lakh, though occupancy was lower.
