The violence around Kapil Sharma-owned restaurant in Canada took another turn on Thursday. Hours after a third shooting at Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang reportedly targeted a Canadian businessman at a restaurant in Brampton.

Gangster Goldy Dhillon claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that it was meant to “teach some manners” following the businessman’s recent remarks.

The gang said in a post, “We do not have any financial matter with this person, but he needed to teach some manners. This is just a trailer, and the actual film may see him losing his life.”

A video showed two men in dark clothing firing multiple shots from a handgun. Dhillon had also claimed responsibility for the earlier shooting at Kapil Sharma’s cafe.

The Bishnoi gang has been under close watch since the Canadian government labelled it a terrorist organisation. The group has been involved in multiple shootings across Canada and the Brampton attack adds to its alarming record.

Kapil Sharma Cafe Under Threat

Kapil Sharma’s popular Surrey cafe has faced repeated threats since its opening in July. Thursday’s shooting marked the third such incident, with the gang quickly claiming responsibility.

Goldy Dhillon and Kulveer Sidhu posted online – “Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. We, Goldy Dhillon and Kulveer Sidhu, take responsibility for the three rounds of firing at Kaps Caffe in Surrey today. We have no enmity with the public. Those who have issues with us should stay away. People who do illegal work, cheat others for money, or speak against religion in Bollywood should also be prepared. Bullets can come from anywhere.”

The Surrey Police Service (SPS) confirmed they responded to an early morning shooting near the 8400 block of 120 Street at around 3:45 am. Multiple bullet hits were found on the building, but staff inside the cafe were unharmed. The SPS Frontline Investigative Support Team and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service are actively investigating. Police said, “The incident is still under investigation.”

This attack follows earlier shootings on July 10 and August 7. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents, but the cafe suffered property damage. Kap’s Cafe had reopened earlier this month, hoping to return to normal. However, threats and violence continue to shadow the venue.
