After the Diwali celebrations, Priyanka Chopra took some time off to relax with her family. The actor spent quiet moments with her mother Madhu Chopra, husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. She also shared glimpses of their downtime on Instagram Stories.
Priyanka Chopra On ‘Chill Mode’ After Diwali Celebrations
In one photo, Priyanka was seen sitting by a swimming pool, reading a book while her pet dog stayed close by. She wrote in the caption, “Just what I needed.” Another picture showed Malti and Madhu enjoying the pool, with Malti playfully upside down in the water and Madhu smiling nearby.
A sweet selfie clicked by Priyanka showed her cuddling with Malti. The little girl (dressed in a colourful outfit) looked away from the camera while Priyanka smiled for the shot. Priyanka herself wore a red outfit under a green jacket, radiating casual comfort and happiness.
Another highlight from the family outing showed Nick Jonas holding Malti as they sat on a beach, gazing at the ocean. Both had their backs to the camera, enjoying the serene view. Priyanka shared the moment and wrote, “The most precious.”

Earlier, Priyanka had shared snapshots of their Diwali celebration. She wrote on Instagram, “A little bit of this and so much of that. This Diwali was full of heart and love. Sharing this festival with people who haven’t discovered its beauty was the highlight this year. Especially Malti’s friends. Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating. May this new year bring you love, joy, prosperity, and happiness.”
Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in 2018 in Rajasthan, celebrating with a traditional Christian wedding followed by a Hindu ceremony. The couple welcomed their daughter, Malti, through surrogacy in January 2022.

Fans last saw Priyanka in the action thriller Heads of State, starring alongside Idris Elba and John Cena. She is next set to appear in the second season of the web series Citadel. Priyanka will also play a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff and star in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film (tentatively titled GlobeTrotter) alongside Mahesh Babu.
