Actor Rakesh Bedi is getting a lot of praise for his role in Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge. He plays Jameel Jamali (a powerful Pakistani politician) in the film. His performance has impressed viewers across borders.
However, what has caught everyone’s attention is the reaction of Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol. He believes that the character played by Bedi is inspired by him. While he had earlier criticised the film, his latest reaction has surprised many.
Nabil Gabol Reacts To Dhurandhar 2 And Rakesh Bedi
In a recent interview, Nabil Gabol said he was surprised by the strong reactions to Dhurandhar 2. He shared that many people in India made videos about him and even called him an Indian agent after watching the film.
When asked if he had a message for Rakesh Bedi, he responded warmly. He said, “Rakesh Bedi is an actor. He is an artist. I want to tell him that we may look similar. Humara dil, humari khoon, humara chehra sabka ek jaisa hain. Main personal nahi hona chahta hoon unke saath (Our hearts, our blood, our face might look similar. I don’t want to get personal with him)!”
He further added, “Give my message to Rakesh Bedi, that I respect you as a very senior actor and I love you.”

Nabil Gabol Recently Criticised Dhurandhar 2
This is not the first time Nabil Gabol has spoken about the Dhurandhar franchise. When the first film was released, he had criticised it strongly. He said he was not happy with how his alleged character was shown.
During a media interaction, he was also asked if he would try to ban the film internationally. While he said he did not have the money to do so, he still criticised his portrayal.
He said, “Jo mera role dikhaya gaya hai, mera role bahut dabbang tha, or dabbang iss tareeke se tha ki inhone mere role ko sahi tareeke se nahi dikhaya. Chaaplusi vala kirdaar dikhaya hai. (I was very audacious. But they haven’t shown me in a right way.”

Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge is the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar. The first film earned over Rs 1300 crore worldwide.
The story follows an undercover Indian agent played by Ranveer Singh. His character enters Karachi’s underworld to stop a major terror threat.
The sequel has done even better at the box office. It has reportedly crossed Rs 1390 crore worldwide. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Udaybir Sandhu.
