After the immense success of Ponniyin Selvan Part 1, fans are waiting for the second part of the magnum opus which is expected to release on 28th April 2023. To spark the excitement of the fans, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan shared a poster of the film on her Instagram account and fans are loving it. The poster has revealed that Ponniyin Selvan 2 trailer is going to release on 29th March and it will be a delight for fans as they gave immense love to the first instalment of the franchise.

Aishwarya Rai, who essays the roles of Queen Nandini and Mandakini Devi in the film franchise, is seen holding a diya in the newly released poster. Vikram, on the other hand, looks intense and brooding in the background. The much-awaited trailer of Ponniyin Selvan 2 is set to be launched in Chennai, followed by a music launch event. The entire cast, including Aishwarya Rai and special guest Kamal Haasan, will be present at the event.
Aishwarya wrote in the caption of the post, “Fire in their eyes. Love in their hearts. Blood on their swords. The Cholas will be back to fight for the throne!”
