Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who ruled millions of hearts with her beautiful age, has turned 47 today and is celebrating her birthday today.

It was the year 1973, when an angel came to Krishnaraj Rai’s house in Mangalore, Karnataka in the pink winter of November.

This angel is affectionately named Gullu. Gullu was nick name of Aishwarya’s, her initial studies took place in Hyderabad.

But after some time, Aishwarya’s family settled in the glamor city Mumbai. And then Aishwarya did her further studies in Mumbai. And Mumbai itself changed Aishwarya’s life.

Aishwarya was defeated by Sushmita Sen in Miss India Contest, she could never be as successful as Aishwarya in Bollywood. In the Miss India contest, both Aishwarya and Sushmit Sen had an equal score of 9.33. There was a tie between the two in this title match. And then when the question was asked on the most beautiful beauty of India, Aishwarya lost to Sushmita in this match.

Aishwarya may have missed out on winning the Miss India title but in the same year she won the Miss World title and the magic of her beauty went on everyone.

Aishwarya started her film career in 1997. The film was Mani Ratnam’s ‘Iruvar’.

Aishwarya is the first Indian celebrity whose wax figure was put in the Madame Tussam Museum.

Since then, she started getting offers for films. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film ‘Iruvar’. Her first Hindi film was ‘Aur Pyar Ho Gaya’. Her first commercial success was Jeans. After this, she got massive success when Sanjay Leela Bhansali cast her for the role of Paro in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Devdas’. Her films ‘Dhoom 2’ and ‘Jodha Akbar’ did good business in the country and abroad, the pair was well received by all of them with their Hrithik Roshan.
