Akshay Kumar: Bollywood actor known for his class and comic timing Akshay Kumar is back to hit the audience with real horror-comedy. Joining forces with Bhool Bhulaiyaa director Priyadarshan, Akshay will soon appear in Bhooth Bangla. On Tuesday, Akshay took to his Instagram account and revealed the release date of the film generating major fan reactions. Bhooth Bangla will entertain the audience from 2nd April 2026.

Akshay Kumar to Rock the Big Screen With Bhooth Bangla

Recently gained success with his multi-starrer Khel Khel Mein, Akshay Kumar is known to make fans drool over his perfect humour. The actor is well-recognised for his comedy films most of which are Priyadarshan directorials. Including Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiya, Khatta Meetha and more Akshay enjoyed some of his glorious years with Priyadarshan films. Now, the actor-director duo have once again joined hands for Bhooth Bangla to give the audience a major flashback syndrome.

As Akshay Kumar announced Bhooth Bangla's release date, he took to Instagram and wrote a big caption. He wrote, "Beyond excited to be on set with my favourite @priyadarshan.official as we begin the shoot of our horror comedy #BhoothBangla today. Yeh darr aur hasi ka double dose aapke liye ready hoga 2nd April, 2026 ko! Tab tak ke liye aapke best wishes chahiye."

The Hera Pheri actor mentioned that he is starting the film's shoot today and it will hit the theaters on 2nd April 2026. His Instagram post immediately went viral and garnered above 250K likes in just an hour.

Akshay Fans Overjoyed with Excitement

There is no denying that even after several years of giving amazing films, the craze among fans for Akshay's new films is still intact. Fans love to visit theatres and have good laughter. However, for the previous few years, the actor couldn't give an impressive hit except for his Independence Day release Khel Khel Mein.
