Akshay Kumar begins shooting for 'Raksha Bandhan'

Akshay Kumar has announced the commencement of his upcoming project, titled Raksha Bandhan. As the name suggests, the film tells the tale of brother-sister bond.

Akshay Kumar tweeted: "Growing up my sister, Alka was my first friend. It was the most effortless friendship. @aanandlrai's #RakshaBandhan is a dedication to her and a celebration of that special bond. Day one of shoot today, need your love and best wishes."

The film reunites the actor with his 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' star.

"Raksha Bandhan" is directed by Aanand L. Rai, who also has another project, titled Atrangi Re coming up with Akshay . The film co-stars Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush.
