Akshay Kumar's Chhatrapati Shivaji teaser trolled for showing electric bulbs, netizens say 'Looks like a time travel movie'

The first teaser of Akshay Kumar as the legendary Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj from his debut Marathi movie Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat has been released, and it has left online users puzzled. The fact that Akshay used the same short-cut strategy and put on the personality costume without undergoing significant physical change surprises the internet users. Taran Adarsh, a trade expert, released the first image of Kumar from the movie. He posted a 22-second video of Akshay entering the frame while dressed as Shivaji. The soundtrack for the video, which is a hair-raising Jai Bhavani composition, is possibly its only positive aspect.

Akshay Kumar is getting heavily trolled

Not only this, the trailer has a shot of electric bulbs and Akshay Kumar is getting trolled for that. Netizens are asking the makers that how can they show bulbs in the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Soon after the trailer got surfaced on the internet, netizens did not waste their time and started trolling Akshay Kumar. Arya Babbar also shared that he is not happy with Akshay Kumar's look. The makers are getting trolled for showing electric bulbs. Akshay Kumar is known for getting high fees for movies and netizens are targeting that term and commenting, "Akki’s fees = 90% of the budget."

Netizens are trolling Akshay for having fake beard in the movie. He was previously trolled for Prithviraj as the shoot was finished in just 45 days. Netizens commented, "Bulbs nahi re.. it's the guys from the old happydent ad", "Maybe they researched it the way they researched Prithviraj", "daadhi ugaate ugaate 5 filme kar lega apna Akki."
