Akshay Kumar shares BIG Update on the release of Hera Pheri, Saye 'Ye Saal…'

Hera Pheri 3 is one of the most anticipated films of Bollywood because it is the third instalment of the popular franchise Hera Pheri. The movie will return on the big screen with the same cast. The makers did a lot of struggle to cast Akshay Kumar in the film. Now, Khiladi Kumar spilled the beans on the film's release on the Ranveer Allahbadia podcast, famously known as The Ranveer Show (TRS). He shared a big update on the release of the film.

Akshay Kumar Shares Update on the Release of Hera Pheri 3     

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff went to The Ranveer Show to promote their upcoming film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Khiladi Kumar talked about the release of comedy movies in this year. He said, “Abhi aa jayega. Yeh saal, agle saal tak kaafi comedy films aa jayengi. Do-teen toh main hi kar raha hoon." The host asked about his projects, Akshay said, “Main kar raha hoon. Welcome kar raha hoon, Housefull kar raha hoon, phir shayad Heri Pheri bhi karoonga.”

He indicated that the film is going to be released in 2025. However, other actors said earlier that the film is going to release in 2024 but the official announcement is still awaited. Akshay also talked about how people get offended by characters in the comedy films. He said, “Arre mazaak nahi uda raha hoon. I’m just doing a part. I’m just playing a character.”

Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay

It was previously reported that Kartik Aaryan had taken Akshay's role in the movie. Fans, who cherished the franchise because of Akshay's connection with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal, were upset by this. After that, Akshay rejoined the franchise, and the movie is said to have started production last year.
