Alchemy of Souls: Part one of Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook’s fictional drama airs to high ratings

Alchemy of Souls: Jung So Min and Lee Jae Wook’s drama ‘Alchemy of Souls’ first part is finished. The fantasy romance show finished the first season with high ratings, with an average nationwide viewership of 9.2 percent. This represents an increase over the previous episode’s viewership (7.9 percent). Furthermore, this is very close to the drama’s personal all-time high of 9.3 percent, which was set with its August 21 broadcast.

‘Alchemy of Souls’ had an average viewership rating of 9.9 percent in the metropolitan area. The drama also ranked first in its time slot among the core demographic of viewers aged 20 to 49, with an average national viewership of 5.0 percent.

The Hong sisters wrote the drama, which shows the stories of young mages in a fantasy land called Daeho. Lee Jae Wook plays Jang Uk, while Jung So Min plays Naksu, a warrior trapped in the body of Mudeok, Jang Uk’s servant. ‘Alchemy of Souls’ will now return in December with its second instalment. According to reports, the drama’s cast has begun filming, and the schedule is assumed to wrap up in the fall.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s ‘The Good Detective 2’ rose to an average national rating of 5.657 percent with its most recent episode. The drama received a 6.2 percent average viewership rating in the metropolitan area. The series, which starred Son Hyun Joo, Jang Seung Jo, Lee Elijah, Oh Jung Se, and Ji Seung Hyun, premiered in 2020 and was a success.
