Alchemy Of Souls Season 2: "Alchemy of Souls" on tvN has come to a satisfying conclusion.  The series finale of "Alchemy of Souls Part 2," which aired on January 8, garnered the drama's highest viewership ratings ever, surpassing even Part 1 from the previous year. According to sources, the final episode of "Alchemy of Souls Part 2" received a 9.7 percent average nationwide rating, setting a new personal high for the hit show.

A nationwide average of 4.1 percent was earned by "Alchemy of Souls Part 2" for its series finale among viewers aged 20 to 49, who also continued to rank it first in its time slot across all cable channels.

New K-dramas First Day Rating

Even so, "Alchemy of Souls" wasn't the only drama to rise to a new all-time high in viewer numbers: both JTBC's new drama "Agency" and KBS 2TV's "Three Bold Siblings" as well attained their highest numbers ever. The second episode of "Agency" received an average national rating of 5.1 percent, a slight improvement over the previous night's premiere.

The most watched drama on any channel on Sunday, "Three Bold Siblings," went up to a new personal high of 23.5 percent in the meantime.

At last, "Red Balloon" on TV Chosun soared to an average 6.9 percent nationwide rating for its most recent episode.
