Nargis Fakhri: Known as the beautiful American actress working in India Nargis Fakhir was the talk of the town because of her alleged link-up with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor. Recently, Nargis Fakhri's sister Aliya Fakhri set her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs on fire by performing an arson in his two-story garage. Aliya Fakhri Under Arrest For Double Murder

Today, early morning the news broke that Nargis Fakhri's sister Aliya Fakhir had set her ex-boyfriend's house on fire allegedly killing him and his friend due to smoke inhalation. According to reports, an eye-witness spoke to the media and revealed the incident. They said that they came after listening to Aliya Fakhri screaming "You're all going to die today." The district attorney said that Aliya's ex-boyfriend was asleep upstairs however, his friend Ettienne came downstairs but went back to save Edward Jacobs, but both of them couldn't survive. The fire resulted in Thermal injuries to them ultimately resulting in their deaths.

Charges on Aliya Fakhri

This murder incident took place in the USA. Aliya has been booked for four counts of first-degree murder as well as four counts of second-degree murder. Not only that she has also been charged for arson. The attorney said that if proven guilty she can spend the rest of her life or maximum life in prison.

District Attorney Ms Katz said, "As alleged in this indictment, this defendant maliciously ended the lives of two people by setting a fire that trapped a man and woman in a raging inferno. The victims tragically died from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries."

Aliya Fakhri's Relations with Nargis Fakhri

According to a Reddit user, Nargis Fakhri expressed a few years back that she doesn't contact her sister and has shared no bond with her or her family. She also didn't know where her sister lived.

In the comment, a user wrote, "She mentioned in an interview (a Dubai based one) that she hadn’t spoken to her sister in years, she didn’t even know where here sister lived or if she had a phone to contact her. It sounds like she had distanced herself from her sister a long time ago. It’s sad her face is being plastered all over the news for someone she doesn’t associate with."

Another wrote, "If I remember correctly, she mentioned during her America’s Next Top Mode days that she had a rough childhood. Sucks that this is in the headlines and her name is associated even though she has nothing to do with the murders."

What Did Nargis Fakhri's Mother Say?

According to reports, When asked about her daughter's unexplainable act, Nargis Fakhri and Aliya Fakhri's mother couldn't believe it. She said that her daughter used to care for everyone and this is impossible for her to kill someone. She further disclosed about her opioid addiction and said that it could be a possible reason for her behaviour.
