Amitabh Bachchan praises Abhishek Bachchan post Dasvi win, recalls how he was 'ridiculed, mocked'

Amitabh Bachchan was one proud father after his son Abhishek won an award for his role in Dasvi. He used Twitter to wish his son well and to poke fun at his detractors. The actor got the Best Actor award for his work in the first of this year's two OTT films, Dasvi, which he also acted in: Breathe: Into The Shadows 2. Additionally winning Best Film was his film Dasvi.

In a special tweet, Amitabh Bachchan congratulated his son. Abhishek Bachchan frequently receives the harsh end of teasing. Big B responded to that in a tweet and noted that Abhishek Bachchan had demonstrated his argument with the film's performance and the award he had won.

When his kabaddi team Jaipur Pink Panthers won the Pro Kabaddi League earlier last week, Amitabh Bachchan sent Abhishek a similar letter.
