Priyanshu Kshatriya, who played an important role in Amitabh Bachchan starrer “Jhund”, has been arrested in the case of theft. The information was issued by Nagpur police on Thursday that a resident of Mankapur area, Pradeep Mondawe had filed a complaint against Priyanshu about a theft of jewellery and cash worth Rs 5 lakh from his house. The police investigated the case and a minor suspect disclosed Kshatriya’s involvement in the crime and he was arrested on Tuesday by the police officials.

Police took him to the court and the court ordered him to be in police custody till November 25. Also, police official disclosed that the stolen items have founded from a pigeon box in Gaddigodam area. It is the same area that is featured in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Jhund. Jhund was the directed by Nagraj Manjule, the film revolves around a former sports coach who teaches football to the child who live in slums in order to keep them away from crime and addictions.

After his arrest, police official stated that Priyanshu Kshatriya was arrested before for stealing phones from train passengers. Now, he was arrested for being involved in the case of stealing jewellery. Priyanshu is just 18 years old and Jhund was the first movie in which he played the vital role.
