Amrita Rao, RJ Anmol blessed with a baby boy

Actress Amirta Rao and husband, Radio Jockey Anmol have welcomed their first child together - a baby bay - on Monday. As per Amrita's spokesperson, both, Amrita and the baby, are in the pink of health.

"Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy this morning. Both the mother and baby are healthy and doing well.

"The family is ecstatic and both Amrita and RJ Anmol thank everyone for their wishes and blessings," the statement read.

Amrita's official Instagram pagae also shared the news with a post.

The couple had announced their pregnancy rather late in the day, on October 19.

“I feel blessed to witness my Nineth month of pregnancy in the auspicious month of Navratri,” she had shared back then.

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol got married in 2016 after dating for almost 7 years. According to reports, Amrita met RJ Anmol for an interview in 2009 for one of her films. The two then became friends and later fell in love with each other.

Talking about keeping her relationship with RJ Anmol a secret, Amrita said, “We have always been private about our personal life. This relationship was sacred to the both of us from the moment it began. Making your relationship public can help you be in the constant news, but we wanted only our work to do the talking.”
