Television actor Nitesh Pandey has died at the age of 51. According to media reports, he died due to a cardiac arrest. Pandey is known for his role in the critically acclaimed show Anupamaa. He was also a part of Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. The unfortunate news was confirmed by his brother-in-law and producer Siddharth Nagar.

Producer Siddharth Nagar confirming the news of Nitesh Pandey’s passing away said that he didn’t have a history of any heart ailment. He told E-times that his sister Arpita Pandey is currently in a state of shock. Nitesh’s father has left for Igatpuri to bring his mortal remains and they will be back by the afternoon.
“We have gone absolutely numb, I have not been able to even talk to Arpita after the tragedy,” he said. “Nitesh was much younger than me. He was a very lively person and I don’t think he had a history of any heart ailment,” he added.

Nitesh Pandey also co-starred Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. He began acting with plays and appeared in serials including ‘Manzilein Apani Apani’, ‘Astitva…Ek Prem Kahani’, ‘Saaya’, ‘Justajoo’, and Durgesh Nandini. He was also a part of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Badhaai Do.
Nitesh was born in Almora, Uttarakhand. He married Justajoo co-actor Arpita Pandey. in 2003.
