Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is basking in the success of his recently released movie Animal featuring Bobby Deol and Ranbir Kapoor as antagonist and protagonist respectively. He made a solid fan base after the release of the film and garnered praise from several fellow filmmakers. However, Sandeep Reddy Vanga faced criticism from the audience for making a ‘misogynistic’ movie. Now, Anurag Kashyap met Sandeep and posted pictures of their meeting on his Instagram account praising him for his work. As per Anurag’s caption, Sandeep is the ‘most misunderstood’ director. Both directors posed happily in the pictures and they looked happy together. Their dressing sense was top notch and garnered attention on the internet. Anurag praised Animal recently and now he showered Sandeep with praises after meeting him. He wrote in the caption, “ad a great evening with @sandeepreddy.vanga . The most misunderstood, judged and reviled Filmaker at the moment . To me he is the most honest , vulnerable and a lovely human being . And I really don’t give a f””” what any one thinks of him or his film. I wanted to meet the man and I had questions and he answered every thing I asked of him about his film that I actually saw twice . Thank you for being patient and being yourself . 40’days since i first saw ANIMAL and 22 days since I saw it the second time .”
He added, “The biggest game changer of Hindi cinema in the longest time and a film whose impact (good or bad) which can’t be denied . And the filmmaker who takes it all on his chin . Great evening spent with him .”
