Sharing the picture on his Twitter account, Apurva wrote in the comment section, "Just two consenting adults, voting & tax paying Indian citizens watching others debate for them whether they have the right to lead a normal married life."

A user commented on the post, "Permission to love and choose to spend our lives together? What next?" Apurva replied to that comment and wrote, 'Permission kaha maang rahe hain behen. Haque maang rahe hain." Another user wrote, "Sending you both lots of love."

He included a picture of himself and Kadamboor sitting at a dining table, both of them looking away from the camera. Apurva claimed they have been following the court proceedings live in another Instagram post.

The hearing was resumed on Wednesday

The Supreme Court's hearing on the legality of same-sex marriages was resumed on Wednesday. Senior attorney Mukul Rohatgi, speaking on behalf of one of the petitioners, instructed the five-judge Constitutional bench that "the State should come forward and provide recognition to same-sex marriage."

"This court needs to exert pressure on society to accept same-sex marriage. In addition to the jurisdiction granted by Article 142 of the Constitution (which gives the Supreme Court the right to issue any order necessary to carry out full justice), this court also possesses moral authority and public trust. We depend on this court's reputation and moral standing to uphold our rights, Rohagti said the bench, according to the newest news source PTI.
