The Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh feud is back in the spotlight. Kangana has now taken a fresh dig at Diljit over his upcoming film Sardaar Ji 3, which stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. In a recent chat, Kangana made it clear that she doesn’t agree with Diljit’s choices and hinted at him having a separate agenda.

Speaking to Times Now, Kangana stressed the need for nation-building and unity. She said, “I've said enough about these people. At the beginning of our conversation, I pointed out that we need to have a sentiment of nation building - everybody is a stakeholder. Why don't we have that sentiment? Why is Diljit having his own path? Why should somebody else, cricketers, have their own path? Even a soldier has his own path of nationalism.”

She further added, “Some genuinely have their own agenda. I am not saying it is unnatural, but we must try to align everybody.”

Why Diljit Faced Backlash For Sardaar Ji 3

It was due to Hania Aamir's casting that came shortly after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. Following the attack, India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, carrying out air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK.

Soon after, Indian authorities banned the social media accounts of several Pakistani celebrities like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Ali Zafar, Atif Aslam, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Hania Aamir. In this tense situation, Diljit’s decision to work with a Pakistani actress didn't go down well with many.

Several Indian celebrities, including Javed Akhtar and Mika Singh, weighed in on the controversy. The reactions were mixed, showing just how divided the industry is on the matter of cross-border collaborations.

Kangana Ranaut And Diljit Dosanjh’s Old Rivalry Sparks Again

This isn’t the first time Kangana and Diljit have clashed publicly. Their famous online war started during the 2020 farmers’ protest. Kangana wrongly accused an elderly Sikh woman at the protest of being paid, and Diljit came to her defence. Their heated exchanges on social media grabbed headlines for days.

Kangana later called Diljit a “Karan Johar ke chamche,” hinting at Bollywood politics. Diljit hit back in Punjabi, making it clear he wouldn’t stay silent. Even after the protests, Kangana continued throwing indirect jabs at Punjabi stars, while Diljit mostly responded through subtle tweets and song lyrics.

Kangana's fresh comments against Diljit make it clear that the enmity is still alive.
