Just after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) filed an affidavit replying to Aryan Khan's bail plea vehemently opposing it on the ground that witnesses are being influenced, the actor's legal team has distanced themselves from Pabhakar Sail controversy.
Prabhakar Sail, an independent witness, claimed an extortion bid of Rs 25 crore NCB officials for letting off accused Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan.
Wankhede has denied the allegations being made against him in this case.
"Allegations contained therein on merits are denied and the assertions of the applicant (Aryan) are not reiterated except that there was no recovery effected from the applicant and the applicant has not consumed any drugs and there is no evidence of the same from the time the applicant visited the cruise terminal," said Aryan Khan's legal team.
Aryan Khan's two page affidavit says, "the applicant has nothing to do with the allegations and counter allegations that are currently on public/social media as between the Zonal Director, MZU, Mumbai and certain political personalities. That the applicant does not make any allegations against any individual in the prosecution department."
