Legendary singer Asha Bhosle, 92, is currently under treatment at Breach Candy Hospital after being admitted on April 11, 2026. Early reports had claimed she suffered a cardiac arrest, which worried fans across the country. However, her family has now clarified that the situation is under control.
Sources close to the family say she is being treated in the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) unit. She is stable and recovering under the care of specialist Dr Pratit Samdani.
Her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle addressed the rumours through a social media post. She confirmed that the singer was hospitalised due to extreme exhaustion and a chest infection, and not because of any heart issue. Zanai also shared a comforting photo with her grandmother to calm fans.
In her message, she asked people and the media to respect their privacy and avoid spreading false information. She also said that the family is hopeful about Asha Bhosle’s full recovery.
