Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul: On January 23, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul married in a lavish yet intimate ceremony in Khandala. They exchanged wedding vows in front of their families and close friends. Athiya came to her own Instagram account on Friday to share gorgeous photos from her Haldi ceremony. In one of the images, the newlywed pair is all smiles. They've been soaked in a turmeric and sandalwood paste. In another photo, Athiya is seen putting haldi on the face of her actor-brother Ahan Shetty.

During the wedding, Athiya and Rahul's friends and family members showered the pair with yellow flower petals. "सुख", Athiya captioned her Instagram image. Athiya and Rahul looked gorgeous in gold ensembles. Rahul also used his official Instagram account to share previously unseen photos from the wedding. Several celebs, including Suniel Shetty, Krishna Shroff, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Aditya Seal, and others, left heart emoticons in the comments area shortly after she published the images.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul wedding story

Before getting married, Athiya and Rahul dated for several years. They only recently made their romance public. They frequently post cute images of themselves on social media.

Athiya made her acting debut with Sooraj Pancholi in the 2015 romantic action film 'Hero,' directed by Nikhil Advani and based on co-producer Subhash Ghai's 1983 blockbuster of the same name. She is going to play the lead in 'Hope Solo,' the biopic of footballer Afshan Ashiq.
