Avatar: The Way of Water Box Office Collection Day 18: The sequel to the highest-grossing film of all time, Avatar: The Way of Water, has reached another milestone of Rs. 300 crores. The sci-fi drama is performing well in theatres, and based on its first-day box office, it appears to have the potential to become highest-grossing Hollywood film of all time. After only 15 days in theatres, Avatar: The Way of Water has crossed the Rs 300 crore-mark. James Cameron directorial is all set to surpass Avengers: Endgame’s lifetime collection of Rs. 364 crores in India.

The James Cameron-directed film made between Rs 41 crore on first Friday. This makes Avatar 2 the second-highest box office opener in the Indian market, trailing only the 2019 movie Avengers: Endgame, which made Rs 53.10 crore on its first day. The science-fiction drama surpassed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in India in just three days.

According to reports, James Cameron’s film picked up pace in the holiday season as the film collected approx. Rs. 6.50 crores on Day 18 (Third Monday) in India. James Cameron’s film surpassed the 300-crore mark in just 15 days. Avatar 2’s good run is making it even stronger at the worldwide box office and it is getting closer to break Avengers Endgame’s record of Rs. 365 crores. Now, the total collection stands nearly Rs 341 crores.
