The makers of Baaghi 4 unveiled the song “Marjaana” on Thursday, giving fans an emotional glimpse into the film’s core. Sung by B Praak and Siddhant Mishraa with lyrics by Sameer Anjaan, the track explores love, sacrifice, and heartbreak.
In the video, Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt are seen in a sombre mood, which shows their characters’ deep emotional pain. Sharing the song, T-Series wrote, “Har lafz mein dard, har sur mein mohabbat… #Marjaana in BPraak’s voice is here to stay with you forever, song out now!”

23 Cuts By CBFC Despite Film’s ‘A ‘ Rating
Apart from the song, the film has been in the spotlight for another reason. Baaghi 4 has become Tiger Shroff’s first ‘A’ rated film due to its excessive violence. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) passed the film, but only after 23 visual and audio cuts.
Several violent scenes were either trimmed or removed, including throat slitting, sword killings, and a brutal skull-piercing sequence. Shots involving religious imagery, such as a knife being thrown at a statue of Jesus Christ, were also deleted. The CBFC objected to a scene where a cigarette was lit using an amputated hand and another where it was lit from a traditional lamp.
On the audio side, strong language and certain dialogues were muted or replaced. Words like “condom” and other slang were cut to meet the censor guidelines. After these changes, the film was certified with an ‘A’ rating and initially had a run time of 163.50 minutes.
Interestingly, just three days after certification, the makers voluntarily trimmed the movie further. By removing 6 minutes and 45 seconds across 19 scenes, the final length was reduced to 157.05 minutes. This is similar to recent big-ticket films like War 2 and The Bengal Files, which also opted for voluntary cuts.
Baaghi 4 Advance Booking Report Is Underwhelming
Despite the buzz around Tiger Shroff’s action franchise, advance bookings for Baaghi 4 have been underwhelming. By Thursday afternoon, the film had sold around 1.27 lakh tickets across India, earning Rs 3 crore in gross collections for its opening day. Occupancy rates stood at 4-7% in major cities, pointing to a lukewarm start.
Trade trackers also noted weak momentum in overseas markets and limited bookings for the weekend. Analysts believe the film’s performance will largely depend on word of mouth. While action blockbusters generally open big, a slow start could hurt the film’s long-term box office prospects.
Directed by A Harsha, Baaghi 4 stars Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu, and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. The cast also includes Shreyas Talpade, Saurabh Sachdeva, and Upendra Limaye. Backed by producer Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is set for a wide theatrical release on September 5.
