The second week at the box office has brought no relief for Baaghi 4 and The Bengal Files. Both films continue to face a dry run, with falling collections and limited audience interest. Despite featuring popular stars, neither project has lived up to expectations. Read to know how much they earned on Day 9.
Baaghi 4 Box Office Collection Day 9
Tiger Shroff returned with Baaghi 4, joined by veteran actor Sanjay Dutt as the villain. The action drama saw a satisfactory opening but was far below the strong openings of the earlier films in the franchise. On Day 1, it collected Rs 12 crore, which was already considered underwhelming.
Instead of rising on Saturday, the film dropped by 23% to Rs 9.25 crore. Sunday offered some relief, with numbers climbing to Rs 10 crore as weekend footfalls improved. However, this small recovery was short-lived.
From Monday, the box office graph fell steeply. Day 4 brought only Rs 4.5 crore, followed by Rs 4 crore on Tuesday, Rs 2.65 crore on Wednesday, and Rs 2.1 crore on Thursday. By the end of the first week, Baaghi 4 had collected Rs 44.5 crore.
The second week has been even more worrying. On Day 8 (Friday), it managed just Rs 1.25 crore, a 40% drop. Day 9 (Saturday) showed a slight rise to Rs 1.75 crore, but the overall trend remains weak. Compared to earlier Baaghi films, this instalment has delivered the lowest numbers. Despite attempts to serve brutal action like Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, the film could not generate similar box office success.

The Bengal Files Box Office Collection Day 9
Vivek Agnihotri’s political drama The Bengal Files, starring Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher, is also struggling (much worse). Released alongside multiple big titles, the film failed to capture significant audience attention in its opening week.
By the second Friday, collections dropped to just Rs 60 lakh, marking its lowest point. However, Saturday showed a small bounce. According to early estimates, the film earned Rs 1.11 crore on Day 9, an 80% jump from the previous day. With this, its total stands at Rs 12.96 crore.
Even with the weekend push, the film’s journey looks bleak. Industry trackers suggest it may not even touch the Rs 20 crore mark before ending its theatrical run.

With Baaghi 4 failing to match franchise expectations and The Bengal Files losing steam, both films are now in survival mode. Their struggle is set to worsen as Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi’s Jolly LLB 3 gears up for release. The courtroom comedy is expected to dominate screens, leaving little room for underperforming titles.
