SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali The Epic, the remastered version of the blockbuster franchise, continues to see a steady decline in collections through the weekdays. Released on October 31, the film opened to strong expectations but has now slowed down as newer releases take over audience attention.
Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection Day 6
According to trade reports, Baahubali The Epic earned around Rs 1.50 crore on Wednesday, taking its total India net collection to Rs 29.65 crore. The film started strong with Rs 1.15 crore from paid premieres on Thursday, followed by Rs 9.65 crore on opening day. Over the weekend, it earned Rs 7.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.3 crore on Sunday. However, Monday saw a sharp drop of nearly 70%, with collections falling to Rs 1.85 crore. It managed to stay steady on Tuesday at Rs 1.95 crore before slipping again midweek.
In total, Baahubali The Epic has collected Rs 28.15 crore in India and around Rs 45 crore worldwide within six days of release. The overseas collection stands at Rs 11.75 crore. That’s a decent number but slightly below expectations considering its release in multiple premium formats like Dolby, Dbox and ICE Immersive.

While the film remains popular among hardcore fans of the franchise, its performance shows signs of fatigue as it enters its second week. With several new films releasing this Friday, its box office growth may remain limited.
The Taj Story Box Office Collection Day 6
Interestingly, The Taj Story has managed to surpass Baahubali The Epic on Wednesday, bringing in Rs 1.60 crore on Day 6. The Paresh Rawal-starrer now holds a total collection of Rs 10.10 crore. Despite its modest opening, the film is slowly gaining traction due to its unique storyline and steady occupancy.
On Wednesday, The Taj Story recorded an 18.74% overall Hindi occupancy. The highest turnout was during evening and night shows, indicating that word-of-mouth is helping the film attract a niche audience. However, with upcoming releases like Haq, Jatadhara and The Girlfriend set to hit cinemas soon, it may face tough competition in the coming days.
Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, The Taj Story still needs to earn about Rs 15 crore more to recover its costs. This makes its box office journey a challenging one.
