Badshah: Rapper Badshah, also known as Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia, has landed in legal trouble after the release of his latest Haryanvi song, Tateeree.
Badshah-Summoned For Obscene And Vulgar Lyrics
The Haryana State Commission for Women (HSCW) has summoned the rapper alleging that the Tateeree song had obscene and vulgar lyrics as well as images that may be offensive to children and women.
Shiv Kumar of the Shiv Aarti India Foundation, and Savita Arya, who leads the Nari Tu Narayani Utthan Samiti, remarked that the song’s lyrics violate cultural norms and are offensive to women. Immediately, a suo motu cognizance was taken by the Haryana State Commission for Women and a notice was sent to Badshah. The rapper has been asked to attend a legal hearing at 11:30 am on March 13, 2026.

The hearing would be presided by Commission chairperson Renu Bhatia and conducted in the conference room of the District Commissioner’s office in Panipat.
The song depicts girls from Haryana in school uniforms throwing their bags and dancing to vulgar lyrics. The song was opposed by the All India Saharan Khap and many other activists.
A legal complaint has also been filed against the rapper by a lawyer from Rohtak with the Ministry of Child Development.
