Bastar Teaser: Adah Sharma in New Avatar, Leads the Charge Against Naxalites and 'Leftist Liberals;' WATCH

Bastar Teaser: Adah Sharma rose to fame with her film The Kerala Story in which she played the role of a Muslim girl. The actress will be seen in another film which is also based on a true story. The teaser of her upcoming film ‘Bastar’ was unveiled recently and it showed Adah in a different & stunning avatar. The team of "The Kerala Story," which includes director Sudipto Sen, producer Vipul Shah, and actor Adah Sharma, is back with Bastar. With their upcoming movie, ‘Bastar,’ they hope to fight both the Naxalites and the "left-liberal pseudo-intellectuals" in this high-octane action movie.

Bastar Teaser Shows Adah Sharma in Different Avatar

Adah Sharma, the lead actor, only delivers a monologue in the teaser for the movie "Bastar." Sharma portrays Neerja Madhvan, an IPS officer. She discloses the number of soldiers who have lost their lives battling the Naxals, claiming it is higher than the number of soldiers who have died battling Pakistan.

She goes on to say that when 76 soldiers were brutally murdered in Bastar by Naxalites, students at "JNU" were happy. She wonders where this idea originated at a prestigious university like "JNU." She goes on to say that the students are supporting the Naxalites, who intend to destroy the country. Adah Sharma says at the end of the teaser, “In bampanthiyon ko sadak pe khada kar goli mar dungi. Jai Hind.”

Directed by Sudipto Sen, 'Bastar: The Naxal Story' is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah's Sunshine Pictures and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah. The film stars Adah Sharma. The movie will be available in theatres all over the world on March 15, 2024.
