Suhana Khan has become the center of a fresh social media debate after her endorsement deal with Adidas India started trending online. The young actress, who is one of the faces of Adidas Originals, has been leading several campaigns for the sportswear brand. However, many internet users are now questioning whether she earned the opportunity on merit or due to her Bollywood background.
The discussion picked up after a Reddit post compared Suhana’s association with Adidas to actor Ranveer Singh, who has built a long-standing image in the entertainment industry. Several users argued that Suhana has not yet had a theatrical release as a lead actress, making the endorsement feel “unearned” to some sections of the internet.
Suhana Khan Criticised For Adidas Endorsement
According to discussions online, many users questioned how Suhana Khan secured such a major brand partnership despite having limited acting work so far.
A Reddit user wrote, “How is Suhana endorsing the same brand as Ranveer? I was just on the Adidas India IG page, looking at Ranveer’s new campaign….and I noticed that Suhana Khan is a brand endorser too?”
The user further added, “This is exactly why people get frustrated with the industry fast-tracking star kids and getting opportunities that they don’t deserve.”
The post quickly went viral and attracted mixed reactions from social media users. Many users openly discussed nepotism while reacting to the endorsement news.
DON'T MISS
One user commented, “Suhana hasn’t worked in 3 years since the Archies! That is a privilege.”
Another wrote, “While I do agree with how Ranveer got there. It is unfair to compare him with Suhana. Some people are just born with privileges and we can’t do anything about it sadly.”
A third user posted, “Daddy’s money, Daddy’s contacts. But too bad Daddy’s money won’t buy aura or talent.”
One more user quipped, “Baap sharukh ho to kya kuch nai hosakta.”
Another Redditor commented, “She got this opportunity because she is Shah Rukh’s daughter.”
