Hosted by Trevor Noah, the event celebrated remarkable achievements in the music industry, with these stars stealing the spotlight.

Kendrick Lamar Wins Big with Five Awards

Rapper Kendrick Lamar led the charge at the 2025 Grammys, winning five major honours for his hit “Not Like Us.” Lamar secured Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video. This marked a significant milestone in his career, making him a 22-time Grammy winner. DJ Mustard, who produced the track, accepted the first of these awards on Lamar’s behalf, earning a roaring applause from the crowd.

Beyoncé Takes Home Multiple Grammys, Including Album of the Year

Beyoncé had a standout night with 11 nominations, a career-high for the artist, and walked away with three Grammys. Her album Cowboy Carter earned her the prestigious Album of the Year, alongside Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Miley Cyrus on “II Most Wanted.” After years of being overlooked for Album of the Year, Beyoncé’s win was a triumphant moment at the 2025 ceremony.

Charli XCX and Other Winners at the 2025 Grammys

Charli XCX also made a significant mark, winning three Grammys for Dance Pop Recording, Dance Electronic Album, and Best Recording Package. Billie Eilish, Post Malone, and Lamar had seven nominations each, while Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter each earned six nominations. Carpenter bagged the Best Pop Solo Performance for “Espresso” and Best Pop Vocal Album. Roan clinched the award for Best New Artist.

Indian-American vocalist Chandrika Tandon took home the Grammy for Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album for Triveni. She triumphed over competitors like Ricky Kej and Anoushka Shankar, winning alongside her collaborators Wouter Kellerman and Eru Matsumoto.
