Bhojpuri director Subhash Chandra Tiwari found dead in hotel room in Sonebhadra in UP

Subhash Chandra Tiwari: The entertainment industry suffered another blow when a director of Bhojpuri films, Subhash Chandra Tiwari, was found dead in his hotel room. He was staying in a hotel in Uttar Pradesh with his team for film shooting.

Tiwari was found dead in his room at Hotel Tirupati in Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh, where he was staying. He was there  with his team for a film shoot. According to UP police, Subhash breathed his last on May 24.

Found dead in hotel room

Giving information, Superintendent of Police (SP) Yashveer Singh, said, “The body of Subhash Chandra Tiwari was found at his hotel room after the staff members opened it. Reportedly, the director had not responded to anyone and hence the police had to break open the room when they found him dead. The body has been sent for a post-mortem to ascertain the cause of death. Further investigation will be done after getting the post-mortem report.”

Subhash Chandra Tiwari hailed from Maharashtra. More details regarding his funeral and cause of death were still awaited.

Four deaths in three days

It has been a difficult couple of days for the entertainment industry.  A few hours before Tiwari was found dead on May 24, popular television actor Nitesh Pandeyy died in a hotel in Igatpuri in Maharashtra.

In a span of a few days, the television and film industries lost four promising personalities. On May 22, young television actor Aditya Singh Rajput passed away. He too was found dead in his hotel room in Delhi. A day later, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actoress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya died in a road accident.

Actor Nitesh Pandey too lost his life at the age of 51 on May 24. He died of cardiac arrest. His funeral will take place in Mumbai today on May 25.
