Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 16: Akshay Kumar’s Bhooth Bangla has completed 16 days in theatres, but its latest box office trend has raised fresh questions. After showing a stable hold on Day 15, the film recorded a slight decline on Day 16, surprising trade watchers as weekend numbers usually rise.
The horror-comedy opened well and maintained decent momentum over the first two weeks. However, the third weekend has started on a softer note. While many expected stronger footfalls on Saturday, Bhooth Bangla saw collections dip instead of grow.
Bhooth Bangla Box Office Collection Day 16
According to Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla earned around Rs 4.35 crore net on Day 16. With this, the film’s total India net collection has reached nearly Rs 137 crore. The Akshay Kumar starrer had collected Rs 4.50 crore on Day 15, which means Day 16 slipped slightly lower. This is seen as an unexpected trend because films generally witness a jump in collections during weekends.
Despite the drop, the overall run remains respectable, especially for a film entering its third week. Weekend growth often signals strong audience interest and positive word-of-mouth. A decline on Saturday can indicate slowing momentum, reduced repeat audiences, or competition from new releases.
Even then, Bhooth Bangla continues to outperform the latest Bollywood release. The film has done far better than the latest release Ek Din, starring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, which struggled badly on its opening day.
All eyes are now on Sunday collections, which could help the film recover and maintain its box office pace.
