Big Boss 14: Jaan Kumar Sanu becomes first confirmed contestant of the show

In an exclusive Bigg Boss 14 press conference, Salman Khan introduced contestant, Jaan Kumar Sanu  aka Jayesh Bhattacharya , the youngest son of singer Kumar Sanu, as the first confirmed contestant of the show. The Bigg Boss 14 press conference, on Thursday was attended by Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan among others.

Salman asked Siddharth Shukla, Bigg Boss 13 winner, to give the new contestant some tips.

Jaan shared his father, Kumar Sanu's reaction about him entering the house. "He asked me if I was sure about doing it. Seeing my confidence, he got excited. He even gave me a few tips," he said in an interview.

“This is the first time that the channel approached me, and it seemed like a dream come true. I have been a fan of the show since its first season,” he added.

During the interview with Salman Khan, Jaan said "Sir, I am more nervous because I am meeting you for the first time in my life. My entire body is shaking. I have been your fan since before I got to know anything about the work my dad has done with you. I am a bit dazed with your presence."

Recently, Jaan came up with a new Track 'Tu Sandali'. When asked what will be his strategies in the house, he quoted Rajinikanth and said, "Wolves always attack in packs while a lion walks alone. So if I am constantly poked, I would try and sort the matter. But if it gets too much, I will respond appropriately and it could be that they don’t like my responses."

Bigg Boss 14 will premiere on Colors TV on October 3 at 9pm and will air on weekdays at 10.30pm. The contestants will be quarantined before the premiere shoot and the shooting for the show will be done keeping social distancing in mind.
