Bigg Boss 14: Sara Gurpal gets evicted, netizens slam seniors

Sara Gurpal became first contestant to be evicted from the Bigg Boss 14 house. She was evicted on Monday, a week after the show premiered.

After the nomination procedure, Bigg Boss had announced that seniors - Gauhar Khan, Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla -- hold the power to zero down to a person who they want to evict. The seniors had opted for three names -- Rahul Vaidya, Nishant Malkhani and Sara Gurpal.

After much discussion, the seniors finalised Sara Gurpal's name for eviction.

While Hina and Gauhar believed Sara has the potential to go ahead in the game, senior Sidharth disagreed. Hina and Gauhar then considered Sidharth's take on one condition that he would listen to them in such situations in near future.

Gauhar Khan felt bad for Sara and even apologised to her. Meanwhile, Jaan also cried on Sara's eviction as he was the only one who had nominated her.

Sidharth, on the other hand, was rooting for Rahul Vaidya and Nishant Singh Malkhani. He said that they both have the capabilites to be in the game.

The housemates bid a tearful adieu to Sara, with Jasmin Bhasin and Pavitra Punia crying a river.

Meanwhile, netizens have expressed outrage over Sara Gurpal's eviction. She was the least nominated contestant for eviction who got evicted due to conflict in opinions of seniors.

Netizens are lashing out at seniors, specially Sidharth, and said he had no right to ruin chances for a contestant.

"I think every eviction of Bigg Boss should be decided by public not by any seniors or house mates. As Eviction of #SaraGurpal is totally unfair.. I want her back in," a user underlined.

"Feeling bad for SaraWorried face. Pehle seasons mein bhi evictions cancel hue h. last season ne to record bnaya h. Is season sirf ek hi week ka time wo bhi tb jb aapko apni screen space ex contestants so called seniors ke sath share krni prh rahi h," another user mentioned.
