Bigg Boss 18 Fame Mannara Chopra Gets Emotional At Father’s Funeral; Sister Mitali Handa In Tears, Fan Says ‘Nahi Dekha Ja Raha’

Bigg Boss 18 fame Mannara Chopra was seen in tears as she performed the last rites of her father, Raman Rai Handa, in Mumbai on June 18. Her father passed away on June 16 at the age of 72. In emotional videos circulating online, Mannara stood by his side during the rituals, visibly heartbroken.

Her sister, Mitali Handa, was also present. She was seen in tears as they said goodbye to their father. The two were captured mourning together. 

Mannara had announced her father’s death through an Instagram Story. Seh wrote, “With profound grief and sorrow, we inform of the sad demise of our loving father who left us for his heavenly abode on 16/06/2025. He was the pillar of strength for our family.”

Mannara Chopra Performs Final Rites Of Father Raman

Fans were moved by Mannara’s strength during the funeral. One fan wrote, “Proud of Mannara the way she is performing her every duty as an elder daughter and sister… proud of this girl… condolences to Chopra family.” 

Another user shared, “Jab beta nahi hota tou beti hi beta ban jati hai baap ko kandha dene ke liye.”

A third user said, “I can’t see… nahi dekha ja raha aise.”

Mannara was earlier spotted at the Mumbai airport with her sister, visibly upset after returning from her hometown. The loss of their father has clearly left a deep emotional impact on the family.

Priyanka Chopra And Meera Chopra Mourn The Loss

Mannara’s cousin Priyanka Chopra, also remembered her late uncle with a message on her Instagram story. She wrote, “You’ll always be in our hearts. Rest easy, Raman uncle (fufaji). Om Shanti.”

Actress Meera Chopra reacted to the news during a media interaction. “Yes, I just got to know about the news a few minutes ago when I entered the event. Vicky told me about his demise… It is very sad. I think losing a parent, nothing can be worse than that.” Meera added that Mannara and Mitali shared a very close bond with their father and came from a tight-knit family.
