The buzz around Bigg Boss 19 is at its peak as the show prepares for its grand premiere on 30 August. Hosted first by Salman Khan, this season will be a digital-first property, streaming on Jio Hotstar before airing on Colors TV. The show is making headlines for its high-profile contestants and the possible entry of AI influencers, bringing a new twist to reality TV.

AI Influencer Kavya Mehra In Talks To Join BB 19?

A major highlight this season is the possible inclusion of Kavya Mehra, India’s first AI influencer. A source told IANS, “To see an AI personality like Kavya on national television would mark a new chapter in how audiences interact with technology.”

Created by Collective Artists Network, Kavya is more than a digital avatar. She represents modern motherhood, built using insights from real mothers in the Collective community. With AI precision and emotional storytelling, she has changed how brands connect with people.

Earlier reports have also suggested that popular UAE doll Habubu could join the show. If either Kavya or Habubu becomes part of the house, it would be a historic moment for AI in reality shows. The source said, “While there have been a lot of news around the AI contestant, be it Kavya or Habubu, it's too early to confirm anything.”

Apart from the AI names, popular TV stars are rumoured to be part of the show. The list includes Sreeram Chandra, Munmun Dutta, Apoorva Mukhija, Alisha Panwar, Paras Kalnawat, Sharad Malhotra, Bhavika Sharma and more. The official list of contestants is still under wraps.

The season will run for five months, with Salman Khan hosting the first three months. Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor are expected to take over as guest hosts later.

Salman Khan’s Massive Fee For Bigg Boss 19

Salman Khan’s pay for Bigg Boss 19 has again become a hot topic. Reports say he will earn Rs 120-150 crore this season, receiving Rs 8-10 crore per weekend over 15 weeks.

Though this is lower than his fees for TV-hosted seasons (Rs 250 crore for Bigg Boss 18 and Rs 200 crore for Bigg Boss 17), it is higher than his OTT pay of Rs 96 crore. With multiple hosts this season, Salman’s fee has been structured differently.

The official Bigg Boss Taza Khabar account confirmed that Salman shot for the promo on July 21, which was based on a political theme.

Bigg Boss 19 will stream on OTT first, followed by a TV telecast 90 minutes later, making it one of the most unique seasons yet.
