In a latest Josh Talks video, Tanya is heard sharing her strict upbringing in a Baniya family. She revealed, “Aishwarya Rai se zyada sundar main hoon aur yeh main logon ko batati thi.”
Her parents were shocked by her confidence and worried about her mindset. Tanya explained, “Mummy papa ke paas jaati thi to mummy shocked thi ki kuch to problem hai dimaag mein. Main baniya hoon to baniya family mein ladkiyon ke liye rule ekdum set hai. Ghar ke bahar 6 baje ke baad nahi nikalna, mobile par ladkon se baat bilkul nahi karna aur apni zindagi mein khana banane ke alawa kuch aur to seekhna hi mat.”

Tanya said her determination led her to start a new journey. “To phir sundar hone ka bhoot chadh gaya to maine ek aur nayi journey start ki. Uss journey mein maine apne aap ko sundar banaya aur Miss Asia ka crown jeeta jo India ne barah saal mein pehli baar jeeta. Aaj bhi jab log mujhse poochte hain na ki tum kitni padhi ho, mai confidently bolti hoon ki – mai sirf 12th padhi hoon, maine graduation nahi ki hai.”

Tanya Mittal Claims Of Saving Cops During Mahakumbh Stampede In Bigg Boss 19
Inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, Tanya also spoke about rescuing police officers during the Maha Kumbh stampede. In the latest episode, She told housemate Gaurav Khanna, “Joh wahan ke police waale the unhone khud bola ke maine kayi saare logon ki, police waalon ki jaan bachayi.” She explained that her personal security and the police team helped manage the rescue. CCTV footage and interviews confirmed her actions.
Tanya further said she won’t receive bravery awards because many videos are now deleted. A few clips remain in the archives of major news channels.
Tanya’s bold personality has drawn criticism since her Bigg Boss 19 entry. Her rumoured ex, Balraj Singh, recently called her fake and urged her to show her “real personality.”
