As the buzz around Bigg Boss 19 continues to grow, a surprising name has sparked major social media chatter and it’s none other than Khan Sir aka Faizal Khan. The popular educator from Patna has become the centre of attention after a viral video surfaced in which he openly rejected the idea of joining the reality show. While fans were curious to see him on TV, Khan Sir made it clear that Bigg Boss isn't for him.
In a now-viral clip from one of his live classes, Khan Sir revealed, “Bigg Boss vale baar baar bula rahe hain. Lekin maine har baar mana kar diya.” His response amused students, especially when one joked about him giving live classes from inside the house.
He laughed and replied, “Phir padhayega kaun? Tum log bologe wahan se live classes lo!” When asked about the constant fights inside the house, he even added humorously, “Yeh ladai muh se hoti hai ya haath se? Muh waali ladai mein maza nahi aata.”
Despite the laughs, Khan Sir was firm about his choice. He said, “Humko in sab cheezon mein interest nahi hai. Na humein filmon mein jaana hai.”

Faizal Khan (popularly known as Khan Sir) is one of India's most loved educators. He is the founder of Khan GS Research Centre in Patna and has built a massive student following thanks to his unique, relatable teaching style. Born in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, in 1993, Khan Sir was influenced by his grandfather, a teacher, and his brother, who serves in the Indian Army. His humble background shaped his commitment to education.
Khan Sir holds degrees like B.Sc., M.Sc., and an M.A. in Geography. He also attended IIM Ahmedabad for a course in strategic management. Starting with just a handful of students, his classes soon filled up due to his simplified teaching and humour-filled sessions.
He launched his YouTube channel in 2019, which now has over 24.8 million subscribers. During the COVID-19 lockdown, his free online lectures became a lifeline for many students across India. He has reportedly refused a Rs 107 crore offer to keep his courses affordable, charging as little as Rs 200 per month. This act of integrity has earned him deep respect across the country.
Despite his popularity, Khan Sir has faced criticism too. In 2022, he was named in an FIR during protests linked to the BPSC exam and also faced backlash for a video considered controversial. Yet, his dedication remains strong. After his wedding in June 2025, he hosted a daawat in Patna for 50000 people, including male and female students.
Coming back to Bigg Boss 19, the show is expected to launch in late August with a theme based on artificial intelligence. The first promo is already out. The show will premiere on JioCinema before hitting TV screens. Interestingly, Salman Khan is expected to host only the initial three months this time in an extended 5-month format.
