Abhishek entered the show as a celebrity contestant and has already made headlines for his growing friendship with co-contestant Ashnoor Kaur. But outside the house, his personal life is making more noise. His ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal, accused him of cheating and hiding facts about their marriage.
Did Abhishek Bajaj Have An Extra-Marital Affair With Donal Bisht?
A report by News18 claimed that Abhishek was seeing Ek Deewana Tha actress Donal Bisht while he was still married to Akanksha. A source said, “Abhishek and Donal were together for a short period of time. They were dating while Abhishek was married to Akanksha. But their relationship did not last long because it looked like Abhishek wasn’t serious. They also broke up soon.”
Another insider had a different take. The source said that Abhishek dated Donal only after separating from Akanksha. They shared, “He dated Donal, but at that time he wasn’t with Akanksha.”
While no one knows the exact timeline, Abhishek has already denied all such claims. He said, “There is no truth to these rumours. I am not in a live-in relationship with anyone. Currently, I am single and have no plans to date anyone. I am focusing on my career.”
Interestingly, Donal Bisht was also a part of Bigg Boss 15, which makes this connection even more talked about.
Why Was Abhishek Scared After Ex-Wife’s Mention In Bigg Boss 19?
Abhishek’s ex-wife, Akanksha Jindal, recently opened up about their troubled marriage. She accused him of lying and manipulating people. After her statements went viral, Abhishek’s team called her a “fame digger.”
Akanksha clarified that their divorce was finalised on August 18, 2023. Many had earlier believed they split years ago. In a long Instagram note, she called Abhishek a liar and claimed he “doesn’t even hesitate before lying in front of Salman sir.” She also said he had been “playing the same game” for 15 years and accused him of gaslighting both her and the audience.
Abhishek’s discomfort over the issue has been visible on Bigg Boss 19. In one episode, he was caught whispering to Ashnoor Kaur without his microphone. Salman Khan confronted him and said that keeping things hidden would only make matters worse, especially since Akanksha’s accusations were already public.
Before it, during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman made a remark about “ex-wives” revealing secrets for fame. Abhishek looked tense after the comment and was later heard whispering to Ashnoor, “Woh yahan toh nahi aayegi?” (She won’t be coming here, right?).
Meanwhile, Abhishek is now out of Bigg Boss 19, and reports claim that Colors TV plans to offer him Khatron Ke Khiladi with Baseer Ali.
