The latest official promo of the new season has been released, and host Salman Khan has confirmed a fresh twist. As revealed earlier, the upcoming season is themed Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar. More details about it arrived in the current promo, where it has been stated that housemates will have full control over the house like never before. Bigg Boss 19 Promo Reveals Political Twist
In the new promo shared by the makers, Salman Khan appears in his usual confident style and teases the show’s new concept. Instead of pure chaos, this season brings “demo-crazy” (a mix of democracy and drama). For the first time, housemates will be allowed to make major decisions inside the house, including tasks, duties, and even eliminations.
In the video, Salman says, “Aisa pehli baar hua hai achha 19 saalon mein. Is baar Bigg Boss ke ghar mein drama crazy nahi, democracy hone wala hai. Toh har chhota bada faisla ghar waalon ke haath mein. Carry on toh ghar waalon, do whatever you want to do, man. But be ready for anjaam and awaam, kyunki Bigg Boss mein is baar ghar waalon ki sarkar.”

This shift in power means contestants will have the freedom to rule, but every choice will come with a consequence. Salman also warned that when things go out of control, he’ll step in to restore order.
Sharing his excitement, Salman said, “Bigg Boss ka har season alag hota hai, lekin iss baar toh scene hi palat gaya hai. ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ ka matlab hai power unke haath mein aur jab power milti hai, toh asli chehre saamne aate hain.Main hamesha kehta hoon, tameez se khelo, par yeh log tameez chhod ke drama le aate hain. This season, they’ll try to run the house their way but when things go out of control, you know who’s coming back to set the record straight!”
Who Are The Contestants In Bigg Boss 19?
Like every year, the confirmed list of contestants is kept secret until the premiere. But several names are doing the rounds online. Reports claim that around 45 celebrities have been approached so far.
Actors like Ram Kapoor, Divyanka Tripathi, Chandni Sharma, Rati Pandey, Meera Deosthale, and Gaurav Taneja have denied the rumours of joining Bigg Boss 19. However, Apoorva Mukhija and Khushi Dubey were recently spotted near the set, fuelling buzz about their possible entry.
When Will the Show Begin?
Bigg Boss 19 premieres on August 24, 2025. The season will begin with Salman Khan hosting for the first three months. After that, the baton will be passed to Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor in rotation.
