Bigg Boss 19 is making strong headlines ahead of its grand premiere on August 24. This year, the makers have introduced a fresh twist called Fans Ka Faisla, giving viewers the power to decide a contestant’s fate before the show even begins.
In this special format, two shortlisted contenders will compete for a single spot in the Bigg Boss house. The contenders are Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha and Mridul Tiwari, one of India’s most-followed YouTubers. Mridul (the creator of comedy channel The MriDul) boasts over 18 million subscribers and is well-known for his relatable humour and slice-of-life sketches.
Voting for Fans Ka Faisla is currently live and will remain open until 11:59 PM on August 21. The winner, determined entirely by public votes, will be revealed by host Salman Khan during the Grand Premiere in a special entry sequence that promises to shake up the house dynamics from the start.

Adding to the buzz, Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has publicly urged his fans to vote for Mridul. In an Instagram story, Elvish said, “sabhi ko aap logon ne suna hoga ki Mridul jo hai apna chhota bhai, woh ja raha hai Bigg Boss mein. Toh uske liye chal rahi hai voting, toh link yahan pe hai bhai. Mixed Reactions From Fans On Elvish’s Video
While Mridul’s fanbase is excited about his potential Bigg Boss debut, not everyone is pleased. Some viewers have expressed frustration over the increasing presence of YouTubers on the reality show, which originally focused on celebrities from television and films.
One social media user wrote, “Ahhhh! Not again. Stop these YouTubers man.” Another commented, “Elvish Yadav show.” A third added, “Yeh sab hype ke liye hai.”
