Buzz around Bigg Boss 19 is heating up as names of possible contestants start making the rounds. This Salman Khan-hosted show will premiere on August 24, 2025. Social media users are reacting after a report claimed YouTuber Purav Jha is the first confirmed contestant this season.
The update comes from the popular handle Bigg Boss Tak, which claims Purav has signed on. This is surprising because earlier reports suggested that only TV and Bollywood celebrities would be part of the show, with no influencers or YouTubers. If true, those claims were wrong.
Bigg Boss 19: What Netizens Say About Purav Jhan Entering The Show
Purav Jha became known after appearing on Amazon Prime Video’s The Traitors. He played one of the “traitors” but didn’t win the game. His sharp gameplay and knack for drama could make him an interesting contestant in Bigg Boss 19. There are also reports that Apoorva Mukhija (another The Traitors participant) has been approached, though nothing is confirmed.
Reacting to the report, one user on X wrote, “And it starts, the filling of kachra influencers to once a good show that it was (sic).”
Another said, “Bigg Boss ka level hi gir gaya hai.” A third posted, “Yeh sare influencers milke Bigg Boss ko band karva ke hi chhodenge.”
One more commented, “Famous TV actors won’t come due to bigg boss and channel biasness so influencer ko hi lena padega.”
Dheeraj Dhoopar Also Confirmed To Join?
Another big name linked to Bigg Boss 19 is TV star Dheeraj Dhoopar. Known for shows like Kundali Bhagya, Naagin 5, Sherdil Shergil, and Sasural Simar Ka, Dheeraj is reportedly joining after talks failed previously.
Initially, there were rumours that he would enter with his Kundali Bhagya co-star Shraddha Arya. But sources say her entry is unlikely because of her motherhood duties. It will be interesting to see if he enters (with or without Shraddha Arya) the show.
Many other names surfaced online for Bigg Boss 19. These include Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Mr. Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma. None of these have been confirmed yet. There was also buzz about Divyanka Tripathi and Sharad Malhotra, but Divyanka has denied the news.
With the premiere just weeks away, the confirmed contestant list is still under wraps. Viewers will soon find out which celebrities and influencers will bring drama, strategy, and entertainment to the Bigg Boss 19 house this year.
