Kishwer Merchant’s Journey In BB Season 9
Kishwer Merchant is known for TV shows like Hip Hip Hurray, Ek Hasina Thi, and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. She entered Bigg Boss 9 under the “Double Trouble” format with her then-boyfriend, Suyyash Rai. Known for her strong personality and assertiveness, Kishwer quickly became a notable presence in the house. While she had clashes with contestants like Mandana Karimi and Rochelle Rao, she also played strategically, forming alliances and taking part actively in tasks.
Her turning point came during the “Ticket to Finale” task. Contestants had to stay inside a fenced enclosure, and the last person standing would secure a spot in the finale. Kishwer competed closely with Prince Narula but decided to leave after roughly 32 hours, taking home Rs 15 lakh. She later described the situation as “unfair” and said she felt “forced out” of the game.
During her season, Kishwer formed a strong bond with Prince Narula, whom she called a “brother.” Her choice to exit was partly to give Prince a better chance to win. In appreciation, Prince dedicated his Bigg Boss 9 victory to Kishwer for her support and sacrifice.
