Bigg Boss 19 is creating major buzz as it returns with a revised format. It is expected to premiere in late August on JioCinema, the show will later air on Colors TV. This time, the game takes an AI-inspired turn, where contestants will have more control over decisions, from nominations to evictions.

Pamela Anderson, Sreesanth And Others: Highest-Paid Bigg Boss Contestants

According to reports, Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson holds the record for the highest-paid contestant. She appeared in Bigg Boss 4 for just three days and was paid around Rs 2.5 crore. (nearly Rs 83 lakh per day)

Cricketer Sreesanth and WWE star The Great Khali also earned huge amounts, with reports claiming they received Rs 50 lakh per week during their time on the show.

Dipika Kakar, Aly Goni Among Top Earners

TV stars have consistently secured big cheques. Bigg Boss 12 winner Dipika Kakar earned about Rs 15 lakh per week. Karanvir Bohra was paid Rs 20 lakh weekly in the same season.

Aly Goni made headlines in Season 14 by earning Rs 16 lakh per week, making him the highest-paid contestant that year. Sumbul Touqeer Khan also joined the list, reportedly earning Rs 12 lakh weekly in Season 16. Fan-favourite Sidharth Shukla took home Rs 9 lakh per week during his winning run in Season 13.

Bigg Boss 19: Format, Celebs And Host Fees

Salman Khan is back as host for the 16th time and is reportedly charging Rs 8–10 crore per weekend, totalling Rs 120–150 crore. The show will likely run for five months, its longest season yet.

The new Bigg Boss house is expected to be ready by August 30, and over 45 celebrities have been approached. Rumoured names include Shraddha Arya, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Meera Deosthale and more. There's also talk of a robot contestant named Habubu and AI Influencer Kavya, though not confirmed.
