Bigg Boss 19 is back and already creating buzz. This season follows a digital-first approach, with each episode streaming on OTT before airing on television 90 minutes later. Superstar Salman Khan returns as the host for the 17th year, leading contestants through an intense 105-day journey. The season features 17–18 participants who will run the house and hold major powers. Viewers will also play a key role in shaping the game and influencing who stays or goes.
The theme for this season is ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkar.’ Bigg Boss will step back, intervening only occasionally, while Salman Khan engages closely with contestants. The Bigg Boss 19 house is designed as a cosy cabin in the woods, monitored by almost 100 cameras. Interestingly, there is no jail this season. As the production head explained, “Bigg Boss doesn’t need a jail to punish the contestants.”
Among the new contestants, Mridul Tiwari has already grabbed attention. In his first media interaction, he spoke openly about joining the show.
What Mridul Tiwari Said Before Entering Bigg Boss 19
In his first media interview before entering the show, he said, “Ekdam normal tha. Confuse tha ki karna chahiye ya nahi karna chahiye. Mera kaam waise hi accha chal raha tha. Aisa nahi tha ki Bigg Boss ke intezaar mein baitha tha. Lekin laga ki ye show poore India ke level par dekha jaayega, to khud ko failaane ka ek accha tarika hai.”
On his preparations, Mridul added, “Mujhe koi khaas taiyaari ka time nahi mila. Bas social media par bahut active raha. Fans aur bhaiyon se juda raha. Unhone mujhe bahut support dikhaya. To phone se door hone ki bajay aur kareeb aa gaya.”
Talking about his strategy in the house, he said, “Planning karke nahi ja raha. Jo situation hogi usi hisaab se reaction denge. Jaise hoon waise hi kheloonga.”
Mridul also revealed his favourite past contestants: “Mere bhai Manveer, Elvish Yadav aur Rajat Dalal. Inke kaaran show accha lagta tha. Shehnaaz aur Sidharth Shukla bhi pasand the.”
