Bigg Boss 19 is all set to begin from August 24, with Salman Khan hosting once again. Fans are excited for the new season, which promises fresh twists and interesting contestants. Although the contestant list is not out yet, some surprising names are reportedly in talks with the makers.
Himanshi Narwal Approached For Bigg Boss 19?
Fresh reports say Himanshi Narwal, who lost her Navy officer husband Vinay Narwal in the Pahalgam attack earlier this year, has been approached to join the show. Himanshi is also a college friend of popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav.
A source said to Telly Chakkar, “Makers want to rope in a few people who would connect with the viewers instantly, and thus there were discussions to get Himanshi Narwal on board for Bigg Boss 19. However, there’s no confirmation regarding the same.”
Neither Himanshi nor the show’s team has confirmed this yet.
The Pahalgam attack on April 22, 2025, shook the country. Vinay Narwal was killed in this terrorist attack while the couple was on their honeymoon. A viral image of Himanshi crying next to her husband gained a lot of sympathy online.
Elvish Yadav said in a vlog that even though they lost touch after college, he thought of her during those tough times. He added, “I had her number, but I did not call her because it is not possible for anyone to pick up your phone at that time and tell you.”
Bigg Boss 19 New Theme ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’
Salman Khan revealed the new “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar” theme recently. This season will focus on power and democracy inside the Bigg Boss house. For the first time, contestants will have the power to make important decisions. This change adds more strategy and drama to the show.
In the latest Bigg Boss 19 promo, Salman appeared as a politician wearing a Nehru jacket and entered a Parliament-style house. He said, “Bigg Boss ka har season alag hota hai, lekin iss baar toh scene hi palat gaya hai. ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’ ka matlab hai power unke haath mein, aur jab power milti hai, toh asli chehre saamne aate hain.”
Bigg Boss 19 might also include some tech surprises. Reports say a UAE-based robot named Habubu and India’s first AI influencer Kavya Mehra, may join as participants, adding a modern twist to the show.
It will stream on JioHotstar at 9:00 PM IST and air on COLORS TV at 10:30 PM IST from August 24. The show will run for five months. Salman will host for the first three months, after which Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor will take turns hosting.
