As Bigg Boss 19 approaches, the excitement is high. Fans are busy guessing who might enter the house this season. But what’s also grabbing attention is the list of popular stars who have declined the offer to join Salman Khan’s reality show in past.
From TV favourites to Bollywood stars, many celebrities have made it clear that Bigg Boss just isn’t for them.
Ahead Of Bigg Boss 19 Premiere, Here Are Celebs Who Declined The Show In Past
Several television stars have said no to Bigg Boss, and their reasons are honest and relatable.
1. Shivangi Joshi: The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai star has been approached more than once. But she said the intense drama doesn’t suit her personality. After being part of Khatron Ke Khiladi 12, she realised she enjoys action-packed shows more. She said, “Too much drama for me.”
2. Jennifer Winget: Known for her roles in Bepannah and Beyhadh, Jennifer also turned it down without hesitation. She said, “No. Never. I won’t do that ever. I think it’s not my cup of tea.” Jennifer prefers the world of fiction and is not a fan of reality TV chaos.
3. Arjun Bijlani: The winner of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and Naagin actor has refused it multiple times. He mentioned that work commitments often clash with the show’s schedule. But more importantly, he wants to present his best side to fans. He said, “I want to show my best side.”
It’s not just TV stars. Even Bollywood legends have said no to Bigg Boss. The late Rajesh Khanna was offered Rs 3.5 crore per episode, but he turned it down, saying, “Rajesh Khanna aise show thodi karega.”
Yo Yo Honey Singh was approached for Bigg Boss 6 but refused due to fee issues. Poonam Pandey was in talks for multiple seasons, but couldn’t reach an agreement on payment.
Comedian Kunal Kamra was also rumoured to be approached, but he joked he’d “rather check into a mental hospital” than join the show.
